We are very pleased with the service we received from Mr. Rooter. We needed our old terra cota lines replaced. Had to jack hammer across garage into laundry room and then into the basement bathroom. Extensive work. The work was completed today, and our 2 workers Frank and Tim, cleaned up the mess. I can't praise these workers enough. Thank you again Frank and Tim.

Rob did a great job. Respectful of my carpet and tried to not make a mess, even though he had to cut the drywall. Our emergency was not as much of an issue as I thought it would be. We liked him so much we hired him fix another small problem. Friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you!

I will probably never forget my experience with the two technicians from Mr. Rooter. I feel as if they were my heroes because after a week with no hot water and all troubleshooting options exhausted we finally called in a professional. Professional is what we got! My techs were Scott and Cody. I’d have to say out of all the contractors/service people we have ever dealt with in home and out of home, these guys were the absolute best! My issue was not critical on the late evening we called, but they came out first thing in the morning. Within minutes they discovered my tank was bad and leaking water and was going to go at any time. Having already been through an exploding water heater (and all the damage that comes with that) only a year and a half ago we acted quickly. After a thorough inspection of the remaining plumbing, which was so nice by the way, we had some small additional problems. We all sat down, drew out a plan of action, and within a few short hours my water heater was replaced. Over the remainder of the day and some of the next, all my job was complete, including the non-emergency items. This experience meant so much to me because the techs were friendly, courteous, professional, and most of all, human. We had many laughs and jokes while they worked as a united team to not just complete the job at my home, but to go above and beyond customer expectation. We will absolutely call Mr. Rooter again in the future should we have any more plumbing needs! Thanks again for everything Scott and Cody! God Bless!

Had a problem with a little over a year new water heater. The problem was with the thermal coupler that was a manufacture defect. Mr Rooter contacted the company and had a new one overnighted to me and installed it the same day it came. That is great service!

My problem is a very slow draining floor drain line in the basement. My service tech was Tim Boyle. He quoted me the price and explained exactly what he would do to try to clear the line . He augured the drainline using the full 80' of cable with the machine. He did not encounter a blockage within this 80'. My underground line is about 200'. He advised locating the line at the 80' mark, digging down to it ,create a new access point, and check the next section for the blockage. He first informed me that using the camera and locating equipment would entail an additional charge.l agreed. He pin pointed the line for me. I will call him back to resume after I dig and expose the line. I was well satisfied with the efforts and communication of their service tech (Tim). 5stars to date, but more work to be done.

Frequently Asked Questions About Drain Cleaning in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania

For more information about drain cleaning services in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, read the answers to our most commonly asked questions below. If you have any questions about our commercial and residential plumbing services, contact the friendly team at Mr. Rooter Plumbing® in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania.

  • What you can expect to pay for drain cleaning may fluctuate depending on the professionals you choose to perform the task, the type of drain that requires cleaning, any problems they discover, and where you live. Different drain cleaning services like sewer lines require different tools and techniques, so you may pay more or less to clean your main drains compared to kitchens, bathrooms, and toilet drains. Tools like Hydroscrub® Jetting and drain snakes that reputable drain cleaning companies use contribute to how much you pay for home and business drain cleaning service. The costs associated with drain cleaning service is often influenced by factors like the presence of clogs, a scheduled versus emergency service, and the condition of your drains.

  • There are many signs that you need professional drain cleaning, such as continually dealing with drain clogs. Slow drainage and multiple clogged drains are signs of something wrong with your main sewer line or plumbing system that you need a professional plumber to fix. If you can hear gurgling sounds coming from toilets and drains, or you’re experiencing wastewater backing up into tubs, sinks, and toilets, call a drain cleaning professional without delay. Awful smells coming from in or around your drains are not only unpleasant but are a sign that there’s something amiss with your drains and you need to book drain cleaning services.

  • Annual drain cleaning can be a good idea if you have older plumbing, want to avoid significant problems, or simply want to maintain your plumbing systems. When you have new plumbing, or it has been well-maintained with no issues, book drain cleaning every two to three years to identify any possible future problems. When your home or business typically sees many residents, occupants, and visitors daily, consider booking regular drain cleaning with a trusted drain cleaning service provider near you. Consult a trusted drain cleaning service provider for guidance on how often to book drain cleaning services to ensure the health of your plumbing system.

  • Whether you own a home or business, you can expect your locally owned and operated drain cleaning service provider to use all the very best tools and tech for drain cleaning. You’ll likely discover a plumbing auger or plumbing snake in your local drain cleaning service provider’s toolkit, which is helpful for removing clogs in drains. When you have grease, debris, and other blockages in your pipes, your chosen drain cleaning service provider may use HydroScrub® Jetting to clear any stubborn clogs. Pipe wrenches, hand tools, plumbing video inspection cameras, pipe inspection tools, and rooter machines are commonplace in many drain cleaning service providers’ toolkits to help clean drains and clear clogs effectively.

  • Something as simple as regular plumbing maintenance from a trusted plumber is all it takes to reduce the risk of blockages and clogs in your drains. As a business owner or homeowner, you can reduce instances of drain clogs by catching food, hair, and other debris with drain screens before they have a chance to be flushed down your drains. There are many different home remedies you can explore to stop your drains from becoming clogged, such as baking soda, vinegar, and hot water. Being kind to your drains may go a long way toward reducing the risk of clogs, like not tipping grease and oil down them and being careful with what you flush.

  • As well as booking a drain cleaning service once or twice annually, you can ask your local plumbing service provider for other drain maintenance suggestions to keep your plumbing system healthy. If you want to stop debris from entering your drains, install drain screens in showers, sinks, and baths, which many reputable plumbers recommend doing. Keeping your drains clean, clear, and smelling fresh can be as straightforward as using mixtures of baking soda, vinegar, and warm water on a regular basis. Keep your drains clean, clear, and clog-free by heeding plumbers’ advice to only ever flush waste and toilet paper down your toilets.

  • You won’t find too many trusted plumbing service providers who would recommend that home and business owners purchase and use chemical drain cleaners for their drains. Rather than suggesting that you buy chemical drain cleaners, most plumbers suggest gentler homemade alternatives like warm water, baking soda, vinegar, and even dish soap. Instead of using chemical drain cleaners, book regular drain cleaning services with the use of drain snakes, hydro jetting, and other professional and effective drain cleaning tools. As chemical drain cleaners can erode pipes that cause costly plumbing problems, affect indoor air quality, kill good bacteria, and irritate your skin, most drain cleaners on the market are not recommended nor considered eco-friendly.

  • In many situations, a sink not draining can relate to a food or hair blockage in the sink trap or P-trap, which a trusted plumber can rectify. Clogged drain lines are among the most common reasons why commercial and residential sinks become clogged. Pouring oil and grease down your drain can solidify and block your drains, causing water to no longer flow away freely. Several things can be to blame for slow-draining sinks that you may not have considered, like pipe damage, issues with your main sewer lines, venting issues, or even problems relating to how your pipes were installed.

  • Baking soda and vinegar can be used for clearing clogs, which can be as straightforward as combining half a box of baking soda with half a cup of vinegar and letting it sit in your drain for half an hour. Some drain blockages caused by grease and grime can be straightforward to clear by pouring warm water and dish soap down your drain and waiting. Pouring products down your drains won’t always be enough to clear clogs — contact trusted plumbers to learn about HydroScrub® Jetting and drain augers to clear stubborn blockages. You may be able to dislodge and dissolve blockages in your drains with a simple solution of baking soda and salt, washed down with hot water.

  • Unclog the drain pipes in your bathroom by inserting a drain snake into your drain opening and pulling out the clogs — your chosen plumber can help with this. Half a cup of baking soda and half a cup of vinegar left to fizz in your drain for up to 30 minutes is worth exploring for bathroom drain pipe cleaning and loosening debris. Get creative and mix dish soap with hot water and leave it to break down in their bathroom drains for 10 minutes to take care of grease and soap scum. Not everyone can or wants to clean their own bathroom drain pipes – call a drain cleaning expert to take care of maintenance and drain clogs for you.
