Big Thank You to our plumber Tucker, who meticulously solved a problem two other plumbers from a major local competing company could not diagnose (they presented two likely problems and were wrong x2), and yet wanted to charge us several times more to fix. EDITED TO UPDATE: I originally reviewed 3/5 stars because I was surprised by an AI agent answering my call when I called for service. Customer service is important to me and I want to make sure when I'm calling I'm talking to a real local person. This morning when Mr. Rooter's plumber came out, he came out with Doug, the owner of the company, who personally inspected the job and made sure it was taken care of quickly and well. Doug explained that they have a local team of customer service agents, but I had called during a busy time (labor day after 5pm!) and their overflow system is an AI agent. I really appreciate the outstanding customer service. Doug and Greg took my repair and my concerns seriously, and they are continuing to employ local people in their business. Really deeply appreciate the care and pride that Doug and his team put into their work. I'll continue to call on Mr. Rooter for any plumbing needs that crop up for my home! *** Original review: We’ve had Mr. Rooter out for service 4-5 times at our home over the past 7 years since we’ve lived here. We don’t mind paying a premium because their service is great, their call center is open 24/7, and they dispatch fast. Usually I call, talk to a real local person, and they get me scheduled right away, even in evenings and weekends. Looks like they just switched over to AI phone operating systems, so when you call you are no longer talking to an actual person. This is also the first time that I’ve had to wait a day for an urgent plumbing issue. I’ll look elsewhere for my next plumbing job. If I want subpar service from a machine, I’d expect to pay a lower price. Mr. Rooter’s whole brand is built around service, I have no idea why they cut out their human operators.

Joe chose to take on my job even after his day was done. He showed up with a smile and a can do attitude. His work ethic and charming personality made what was happening easier to bear. Sewage backing up into shower/tub. He took the time to educate me of the situation and then was able to quickly resolve the problem. He also looked for any future issues that may become a problem and set me at ease. We stand by the promise to do the job right. Our independently owned franchise owners will perform services in a professional, workmanlike manner, consistent with industry standards. If you believe the job was not done right, contact your local franchise owner within 1 year and they will re-perform the services at no additional cost to you. In the event you are still not satisfied, our liability is limited as set forth below.

DISCLAIMER OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES

Because we are a services company and do not manufacture products, we only warrant their services with the “Done Right Promise.” Except as otherwise provided or where prohibited by law, we provide no further warranty as to the services and all third-party manufactured materials or goods provided or installed in connection with the services are provided without warranties by us of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of title, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of third-party rights.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we and our independently owned franchise owners make no representations and expressly disclaim the above warranties including any as to the reliability, quality, or performance of any third-party manufactured materials or goods or installed in connection with our services.

EXCLUSIONS

The “Done Right Promise” is subject to the following exclusions: (i) services that you request be re-performed that were not originally agreed to be performed for you; (ii) losses or inability to perform arising out of acts of nature or other force majeure event; (iii) losses or inability to perform arising from the acts or omissions of you or a third party; (vi) losses or inability to perform arising from a manufacturer’s or a product’s defects; (v) losses or inability to perform due to unforeseeable or latent defects in the premises or property; and/or (vi) services that you request be re-performed but for which you have not previously paid in full.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED SO WE CAN PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AT A REASONABLE PRICE.
