100 and 10 percent I recommend for anyone to call. Mr. Rooter as of today 4/13/21 has saved me from losing 20000 to 50000. Here's a Lil story I would like to share it may help some1 that has no knowledge of plumbing like myself. I called earls plumbing which I hope who ever calls them don't get rip-off as I almost did. They came out and was unprofessional. I had a leach line problem and earls plumbing came out didn't even take the time to get out of his vehicle but looked out his window and told me yea my leach line is busted I would need to replace it. I'm thinking 1 to 3k not a problem. Then he said it would cost me 50k with permit and 20k without. Keep in mind the guy never even went to my septic and open it up to find the problem. Then we had a Lil conversation and I told him that we'll big valley septic told me it can b fix by Mr. Rooter with a pressure hose and it would take out all the roots from my leach line. I had called earls plumbing first cause I always seen their vehicle running around. His reply was they r stupid don't know what they r doing and would destroy the leach line completely and I would lose money on that and still have to replace the leach line. I thought to myself this guy is asking for alot and not even observing what the problem is yet. So I told him ill talk to my wife and get back to him. Then he said he can work Then I called up rooters and man was I glad I called them. They came out James and Robert was their name. Both very professional. Took their job serious. They mad me feel like I was their num 1 priority. They open and observe the leach line took a camera to the leach line told me I had roots growing in there and they can help me out and fix my problem. When they told me the cost of the fix was 2500 I was like wow….. comparing the price of 2500 to 20000. I'm gonna let u guys do the math. It's a no brainer. So yes I'm gonna say it again I 100 and 10 percent recommend and satisfy with Mr. Rooter company. If u want to b treated fair friendly and professional Mr. Rooter is number 1. I guarantee u would b happy with the work they do 100 percent

Frequently Asked Questions About Plumbing in Millville, California

If you have questions about our plumbing services, the team at Mr. Rooter Plumbing® in Millville, California is here to answer them. Learn the answers to some of our more frequently asked questions below.

  • Every time you loosen and tighten your faucet, parts like valve seats and washers can start to wear out until you eventually experience a dripping faucet. High water pressure can lead to leaky faucets, which you can solve by requesting help from a trusted plumber to test and adjust the pressure. Dripping faucets can be common in locations with hard water since it can cause minerals and solids to build up on your faucet, eventually leading to rust. When you notice a drippy faucet and aren’t in a position to repair it, contact a trusted plumbing service provider in your area to both diagnose the problem and take care of it.

  • If you or someone else has recently used your primary water shutoff valves, check them to make sure they’re entirely open, as even being slightly closed may affect your water pressure. If you think your low water pressure issue is caused by a possible blockage or clog in your pipes, contact a plumbing service provider in your area to inspect them. You may have a problem with your home’s pressure regulator, seeing the need for repairs or replacement if your water pressure changes from high to low with minimal transition time. Plumbing leaks can be to blame for water pressure changes, so inspect your property for wet areas and request the services of a local trusted plumber if you find any.

  • When your sink is draining slowly, reach out to a trusted plumbing professional in your area who can share insight into why it’s draining slowly and how they can help. Baking soda and vinegar may be worth having in your pantry because these staples can sometimes help clear grease and soap scum that may be causing a slow-draining sink. When household pantry staples aren’t enough to clear the drains, causing your sink to drain slowly, try a plumbing snake or auger that can twist inside your drain and grab onto any clogs. You or your plumber can check your P-traps when diagnosing slow-draining sinks since debris trapped in them can be a common cause or contributing factor.

  • You may prevent plumbing leaks by asking plumbing service providers for routine services like water heater flushing and drain cleaning to identify and avoid future issues. Avoid plumbing problems by not pouring anything harmful down your drains, like paper towels, feminine hygiene products, wipes, cooking oil, and eggshells. Pipe damage can be a common consequence of high water pressure, often resulting in plumbing leaks, so address your water pressure woes with a regulator or the help of a plumber. Exposed pipes can be prone to damage during winter in colder parts of the United States, but you may avoid cold-related plumbing leaks by insulating and covering your pipes.

  • Sinks can smell for many different reasons, so contact a plumbing service provider to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Clogs and blockages in drains are a leading cause of awful smells in drains because bacteria can treat them as breeding grounds and produce foul-smelling waste. If you notice a bad sewage smell around a sink that you rarely use, it’s likely because the P-trap has dried out, allowing sewer gases to make their way into your home. If you own a garbage disposal, inspect it as the cause of a foul odor from sewer gases, mold, bacteria, or decomposing food and grease.

  • Pay attention to the size of your water heater compared to the needs of your property’s occupants since your demands may be outstripping the supply. Check your water heater’s thermostat and ensure it’s high enough to produce comfortable hot water but no higher than 120 degrees F to prevent a burn risk. Troubleshoot the possibility of a broken component like a thermostat, heating element, or gas valve that explains a lack of hot water — particularly from an older water heater. As soon as your water heater’s hot water-producing efforts change or worsen, contact a trusted plumber in your area to diagnose the problem.

  • Leaking faucets, fixtures, and pipes can be the most common causes of unusually high water bills, so contact a plumber you trust for advice. If your property has an outdoor irrigation system, pay close attention to the settings since some settings are more efficient than others and affect your water usage and water bill. After receiving a high water bill, inspect each of your water-using appliances for signs of possible problems since washing machines, water heaters, and dishwashers may all contribute to your water bill. Look for leaks in your toilet as a cause of excess water use since an undetected leak can waste gallons of water every day and up to 80,000 gallons every year!

  • ·Turn off water and power: If it’s safe to do so, turn off the water and power to your home or business after a burst pipe to keep everyone safe. Contact a trusted plumbing service provider: Repairing or replacing a burst pipe can be complicated, which is why you should contact licensed and insured service professionals. Clean up excess water: When a plumber has taken care of your burst pipe, start working on cleaning up the mess left behind with buckets, towels, and mops, unless there’s sewage to contend with. Document any damage: If you plan to claim insurance on your burst pipe, take photos and videos of all damage and write down a list of all the damages.

  • A chain that’s rusty or caught on something and a flapper that has become brittle with age can cause a toilet to keep running after it has been flushed. If you’ve noticed that your toilet’s valve has water in it, replace it, as it may be sitting too low in your toilet tank, causing your float valve to stay open and your toilet to keep running. Something as simple as a broken fill valve responsible for turning off the water supply to your toilet can explain why your toilet continues to run after you flush it. If you don’t have the time, experience, or confidence to determine why your toilet won’t stop running, book a repair through your local plumber.

  • A simple clockwise turn of the water valves inside your home or business can quickly cut off the water supply to your property for convenience and easy maintenance. Grab a pentagon socket wrench and locate the underground water meter box on your property – these typically have security bolts that need to be removed to access the water shutoff. Some outdoor water meter boxes housing your water shutoff valve can only be easily accessed to turn off your water if you have a pair of pliers or a meter key. Contact your local trusted plumber for help and advice if you’re having trouble turning off the water supply to your property.
